Pre-requisite: BIM Basic Training

The BIM – Advanced MEP course starts with setting up an MEP Revit project file, explaining spaces and zones, and creating zoning plans. It includes an in-depth explanation of Revit systems. The course then focuses on piping systems, covering the introduction of pipe systems in Revit, adding new pipe sizes and types, creating parallel pipes, placing pipe accessories and plumbing fixtures, modeling sloped pipes, and creating sanitary and domestic water systems.

The electrical systems section addresses modeling cable trays and conduits, creating new voltage and distribution systems, and developing power circuits and lighting layouts. The course also covers the creation of MEP schedules and the preparation of single and combined services drawings. This training ensures participants are well-versed in developing and documenting detailed MEP models using Revit.
