This project is a part of Singapore’s first town that is being developed with planning for smart technologies from the beginning. The design of the town focuses on green, sustainable features and community centric spaces.
Yafiu worked as the BIM lead of this project alongside local Singaporean contractors to bring this public housing HDB project into life. This HDB project contains 16 Residential Buildings and 6 Carparks.
A total of 5 BIM subcontractors were managed and coordination was done with them to ensure smooth design refinement.
BIM technologies used in this project
Virtual Reality of the models were used during weekly coordination meetings with all the key stakeholders. The result of the coordination is reflected in Construction Drawing Sets which will then be passed on to the site for construction
Management of the BIM 360 platform and creation of workflows for approval of drawings
Clash Coordination was done to automatically detect clashes within the different trades of models in the building
Integrated Digital Delivery was utilized to track the delivery and installation of PPVC modules to the construction side
